‘Setin’ to compete at BeBop Channel Content Festival

Iranian short film ‘Setin’ is to compete at the 2020 BeBop Channel Content Festival in the US.

Asghar Abbasi’s short film ‘Setin’ has been selected to vie at the 2020 BeBop Channel Content Festival in the US.

Synopsis to the film reads, “No house remains without columns”.

Abbasi has made more than 20 documentaries and short films; and ‘Setin’ is the director’s debut feature which brought him multiple awards at some domestic film festivals.

He intends to make a trilogy with the themes of love, youthfulness and addiction to attend to world festivals with ‘Satin’ being the first film of this trilogy.  

Siamak Atlasi, Sima Khezrabadi, Alireza Saveh-Doroudi and Ramin Baqeri are among the short’s cast team.

According to the event’s organizers, the BeBop Channel Content Festival is a unique festival that rewards its officially selected films and web series with Stock Grants.

The festival includes many outdoor events and screenings.

The latest edition of the festival will take place in multiple locations in Harlem, the US over four days on June 4-7, 2020.
